Anyone have this? Vinnie plays on 2 tracks, Kenwood Dennard is on the rest. There are some clips and info here. "Tracking" is one of my all-time favourite Vinnie performances, plus the music is outstanding.

I have it.
Of course, Kenwood's always great!
Kimo's back in Chicao, this May. I'll
be there for the third time in a row.
Talk about a wall of sound! 17 pieces
on stage - almost all horns!!
He ALWAYS has great drummers with him.
I have seen Vinnie with him (great!) and
his regular drummer is the fantastic Tom Hipskind! He's also marvelous!

Kimo does indeed always have great musicians [esp. drummers]...Of course, Vinnie; & Tom is indeed also "Hip"[-skinned]...
Know what's funny, Peter? I've always known Kenwood to be a great player. & he recorded & toured extensively w Jaco, 4 "Pete's sake" ...
Yet some here have said that a recent perf of his [on Drummers' Collective, perhaps - can't rem] wasn't that good. I haven't seen it. But i do know that he is completely deaf in 1 ear & almost in the other, & has been since he was either born or a small child...maybe this has something to do with the perceptions of his perf...was he singing on them [like he did way back w his "1 man meta-rhythmic orchestra" thing]?
I have a mid-80's Daryl Dobson [gtrst] release that he kills on...
& we all know what a great job he did on Sting's original studio version of Jimi's "Little Wing"....

From what I understand, he is nearly
deaf, now. I have not heard him lately.
Pat Martino's Joyous Lake is one of my
all-time favorites.

I've always loved Kenwood too.....until I saw the Collective DVD thing. I just didn't get it.
Regarding the deafness thing, two words....Evelyn Glennie!
